Yesterday, January 21st, was 'Blue Monday', but it was a red letter day for the Tackling Financial Inclusion through Digital Inclusion project because it saw the launch of our fantastic new website. The launch, which was held at The Wallich Centre on Cathedral Road in Cardiff, was a wonderful event, attended by nearly 40 dignitaries, partners, advocates and service users.
The website was launched by Carl Sargeant AM and our sincere thanks go to him and our other speakers, Derek Walker (CEO Wales Cooperative), Katija Dew (Wales Cooperative) and Antonia Watson (CEO Wallich), for their time and their inspiring speeches.
Following the formal launch guests had an opportunity to have a play around with the website, supported by staff from Wales Cooperative Centre and Communities 2.0, and our thanks go to them for a job well done.
Yesterdays launch may have seen the completion of the work to get this very useful tool online, however it is only the beginning of the job as far as supporting individuals and advocates goes. Now it is your turn to get involved and help us turn the information site and hub into the power tools they can be.
